ANZCOP is the primary domestic conference for optics and photonics research in Australia and New Zealand. Presented annually by the Australian and New Zealand Optical Society, the series integrates the former ACOFT, ACOLS and AOS conferences and has run under one of these banners since the first Australian Laser Conference in 1978.
ANZCOP 2026 is hosted at the University of Sydney and co-located with the 26th Australian Institute of Physics Congress, with Dr Moritz Merklein as General Chair and Prof Rich Mildren as Programme Chair. This is an important date on the Australian photonics calendar and one of the best opportunities to meet the domestic research community in one place.
